About Us

History: Our father, Sri. K. L. Chandrashekhariah, founded Prakash Cafe in 1943, establishing the family's restaurant and catering business in Bangalore. Under his leadership, Prakash Cafe grew in popularity, catering everything from small, private events to large government functions. Decades later, Prakash Cafe has become a proud part of Bangalore's heritage and continues to warm the hearts of locals and visitors alike.

Philosophy: From the start, Chandranna had a single, guiding principle for Prakash Café: "Service to people is service to God." We proudly continue to be a family-owned business and customer satisfaction remains our most important value. We will always strive to ensure that every guest and customer is delighted with our service.

Location: Prakash Cafe is located in Chamarajapet in the original heart of Bangalore. Nearby are many famous landmarks including the century-old City Market, Tippu Fort, Bull Temple and beautiful Lal Bagh botanical garden. We are close to Town Hall and Ravindra Kalakshetra and easily accessible to many of Bangalore's corporate offices and government centres such as the Vidhana Soudha and the High Court.
